On the first day of classes, Northwestern’s new president shared a welcome video with the University community.
This year’s appointees are industry leaders in health care, real estate, technology, business and more.
In this annual tradition, more than 2,000 new and transfer students took their symbolic first steps on the Evanston campus under Weber Arch and along the path to Deering Meadow.
The gift will fuel innovative research, rigorous inquiry and collaboration among students and faculty around the globe.
Their collaboration will use artificial intelligence to design and synthesize next-generation materials to help reduce carbon emissions.
Past chair of the Board of Trustees J. Landis “Lanny” Martin ’68, ’73 JD, ’22 H and Sharon Martin (’02, ’08 P) have made a $3 million gift to endow faculty positions at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
In honor of National Cooking Day on September 25, Lisa Hunt Stevens ’92 MS will share a recipe for flancocho, a cake that is equal halves flan and chocolate. Stevens is co-founder of Familia Kitchen, which celebrates and preserves Latino culinary culture and history.
Join the recipients of the Northwestern Alumni Association’s (NAA) highest honor for a panel discussion on how the University shaped their lives and careers. The event will take place in person on the Evanston campus and via livestream on Friday, October 7.
A resident of Kilchberg, Switzerland, the longtime Northwestern volunteer joins six newly elected members on the alumni board: Raj Babu ’03, ’09 MBA; Pamay Bassey ’95 MS; Cristy Garratt ’10; Susan Howe ’91; Jack Kang ’90; and Sonali Singh ’99.
The alumni association honored the University’s most dedicated alumni volunteers and clubs, including the Northwestern University Pride Alumni Club and NU Club of Philadelphia, for their exceptional service.
All Northwestern alumni, family and friends are invited back to the Evanston campus for a weekend of Purple Pride.
