Northwestern at the Summer Games

The 2024 Olympic Games commenced on July 26 and were followed by the Paralympic Games on August 28. Thirteen athletes and two coaches affiliated with Northwestern represented their teams in Paris, carrying on the University’s legacy of participation—a history that spans more than 100 years! All listed events aired live nationally in the United States on Peacock, the NBCUniversal streaming platform. Explore the full roster.

Sports writers Alan Abrahamson ’80, (’16, ’21 P) and David Kim ’18 MS, sports commentator Christine Brennan ’80, ’81 MS, trustee, and student-journalist Raghav Khosla ’26 also covered the Summer Games in Paris. Additionally, Monica Rho ’01, ’05 MD, ’09 GME was the team physician for the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team.
