NU Day @ Wrigley 2026
On May 19, 2026, thousands of Northwestern community members attended NU Day @ Wrigley, an annual tradition since 1980. Before the Chicago Cubs took on the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field, alumni got together for a pre-game meetup at Brickhouse Tavern. Later, inside the Friendly Confines, Northwestern’s THUNK a cappella sang the national anthem, and pro golfer Dylan Wu ’18 threw out the ceremonial first pitch. A portion of the proceeds from the day’s special ticket sales raised more than $12,000 for the University’s Student Activities Assistance Fund, which provides financial assistance for students to participate in campus programs and events.
